A set of once new ideas that still holds up

The Lego Batman film is funny, surprisingly meaningful albeit in ways before seen, as well as just a load of fun. The one liner hit to sink ratio was extremely healthy and I found myself repeating the whimsy I had just heard. I was afraid that the context for much of the humor would no longer hold up, but to my surprise that was hardly the case. A nice fresh air of funny respite for movie night, and a nice little reminder that being a butt does not make you special or cool.
